Patrick Joseph McBee, a beloved resident of Leonardo, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on March 17, 1965, in Red Bank, NJ, Patrick was the cherished son of George and Margaret McBee (née MacLean).
Patrick's life was marked by a deep commitment to his community and his family. He was a lifelong resident of Leonardo and found fulfillment in his various professional endeavors. Patrick was the proud owner of P. McBee Custom Carpentry and dedicated his skills to Wagner Builders. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch 3 Bee's Estate Sales, a testament to his passion for family and heritage.
An avid lover of music, Patrick's soul was nourished by the melodies of his favorite artists, particularly the Beatles and Lynyrd Skynyrd. His creativity extended beyond his profession, as he possessed remarkable woodworking skills, admired by all who knew him.
Patrick's greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband to Ruth Ann McBee and a loving father to his daughter, Abiageal Rose McBee. Patrick's siblings, William Francis McBee, George Michael McBee (Elizabeth), and Nancy Jean McBee "Weber" (Roger), will forever cherish his memory.
Patrick's life was a testament to his courage and resilience, as he bravely battled pancreatic cancer for over two years. Throughout his journey, he remained a beacon of strength and determination, never yielding to adversity.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor Patrick's memory during visitation on Thursday, April 18th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Scott and Kedz Funeral Home, located at 153 Church Street, Belford. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 19th, at 10:30 am at St. Agnes RC Church, situated at 103 Center Avenue, Atlantic Highlands. All are invited to meet directly at church on Friday morning. In accordance with Patrick's wishes, the cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made directly to the family, serving as a tribute to Patrick's enduring legacy of love and compassion.
Patrick Joseph McBee will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
